This June, Graybar employees, along with their family and friends, gathered for the PurpleStride Walk in San Francisco, Presented by Graybar.

Graybar Chairman, President and CEO Kathy Mazzarella kicked off the event virtually with an inspirational message for walkers. Team Graybar had 39 members from branches across eight states.

They walked in honor of former District Vice President and Graybar Board Member Ken Sparks, who lost his battle with pancreatic cancer in February 2014. Together, the group raised more than $15,000 in his honor. Since the first walk in 2008, PurpleStride has been the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network’s most powerful vehicle for fundraising and awareness.
