As the presenting sponsor, Graybar Chairman, President and CEO Kathy Mazzarella took part in the opening ceremonies. Kathy delivered a brief message and presented awards to the top fundraisers.

On June 23, 2019, employees in Dublin and Modesto along with their family and friends gathered for the PurpleStride Walk in San Francisco Presented by Graybar. Since the first walk in 2008, PurpleStride has been the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network’s most powerful vehicle for fundraising and awareness. 

Team Graybar walked in honor of former District Vice President and Board Member Ken Sparks, who lost his battle with pancreatic cancer in February 2014. Together, the group raised more than $9,300 in his honor. This year, the event exceeded its fundraising goal by more than $23,000!
